The city of Fort Worth Community Engagement Office is hosting a bike safety series for kids at public libraries through the month of July.

The interactive bike safety presentation covers helmets, hand signals, riding in traffic and other safety rules of the road. Participants will learn safe healthy behaviors, bicycle safety rules and laws, techniques for preventing injuries and accidents and the benefits of physical activity. The program is designed to target younger riders. 

The program began in the last half of June and continues through July 25.

July 9: 1 p.m. at COOL
July 11: 1 p.m. at Riverside
July 12: 1 p.m. at Central
July 12: 4 p.m. at East Berry
July 13: 1 p.m. at Wedgwood
July 17: 4 p.m. at Seminary South
July 18: 1 p.m. at Ridglea
July 25: 4 p.m. at Southwest Regional
